**Phytoextractum has stayed a reliable Kratom vendor for *more than ten years*. Cool name, ain’t it? But, it can be **a little tricky** to type super fast!** 😉
With new Kratom sellers popping up all the time (some good, a lot bad) I thought it was time to review a company that has been serving the Kratom community for more time than a lot of other sellers combined.
Surely the fact Phytoextractum is still in business after all this time says something, right? But has it had its heyday?
My Phytoextractum Review
Let’s take a closer look at how Phytoextractum stacks up when it comes to the things that really matter in this marketplace – especially with all this competition.
How Good is Phytoextractum’s Kratom?
As always, I like to start my reviews with what is arguably the most important question: how good is the actual product offering? (Of course, if a company has particularly bad Kratom, I don’t tend to review them – maybe I will one day).
Phytoextractum sell a lot more than Kratom (Mitragyna Speciosa), a fact I’ll talk more about later, but obviously from this website’s point of view, it’s the Kratom we’re interested in.
Phytoextractum have a good range of popular Kratom strains as powder and, to make a long story short, this Kratom is consistently good.
I was pleasantly surprised actually. My friends and I tried a large sampling of the powder selection for this Phytoextractum Kratom review, with close attention paid to classic strains such as Meang Da Thai and Green Malaysian. And the verdict was overwhelmingly positive.
While Phytoextractum isn’t a name that pops up regularly for discussion, when it does, there are always positive Phytoextractum reviews and comments from long time customers that consider this to be the best Kratom vendor for them, and would find it hard to function without their Kratom from this particular company.
While not every strain will be a winner for you, on the whole, I consider Phytoextractum’s Kratom to be good.
The best Kratom from Phytoextractum? Try the Maeng Da Red Vein Thai.
How Easy is it to Purchase from Phytoextractum?
What is next to consider, of course, is how easy it is to get your hands on said Kratom. It’s not always a smooth process in this industry!
The first thing you’ll probably notice about Phytoextractum is that the website looks a little outdated and clunky, especially compared to some of the newer vendors out there. I mentioned that this company has been around for over 10 years. Well, you can tell. 🙂
It’s easy enough to find your way around like any other online store and I’ve definitely seen worse, but it just feels, as I say… clunky.
A huge positive, however, is that they have plenty of easy payment options. You can pay by the usual (Phytoextractum probably have a long standing, reliable processor – something new vendors struggle to get) as well as Bitcoin or Dwolla.
If you can get past the outdated design and over the fact that it probably takes you more clicks to navigate your way around the website compared to more modern stores, it’s still straight forward enough and you should be able to make your payment hassle-free.
What Else?
Good prices and Discount Codes: The prices at Phytoextractum are pretty cheap since you’re buying from them directly (as opposed to a brand in a Head Shop with a marked up price like the OPMS brand.) The price is especially low for such good Kratom and they nearly always have some sort of discount offer available. Honestly, you’d be silly to pay full retail price at Phytoextractum. I always post the latest Phytoextractum coupon, so be sure to check.
Free Shipping as Standard: This is very nice. You get free shipping even on small orders, upgraded to free Priority Mail (1 – 3 day delivery) on orders over $75, and free Fedex Overnight shipping on orders over $150.
Good Range of Strains as Powder: Phytoextractum have a pretty good range of regular Kratom powder strains, offering good variety from the same vendor. Rotating strains is important for regular use, so those of you that are daily burners will appreciate this.
It’s an Online Emporium! For better or worse, along with Kratom, Phytoextractum sell a bunch of other herbs, teas, supplements, vape pods, incense and oils from Akuamma to Kava and everything in between. If this is your sort of thing, it’s probably heaven. If this were a physical store, I’d imagine you’d get lost wandering through the aisles, discovering the different products like secret lotions and potions.
With a product selection so big, there are undoubtedly some products I wouldn’t recommend…
Things I Don’t Like
Kratom Extracts: It was a given that Phytoextractum would sell extracts as well as regular strains, just by the vast range of other things they sell. Unfortunately however, as I’ve mentioned before on this site, I don’t recommend extracts. They give a bad image of Kratom, they’re harder to dose and they skyrocket your tolerance. I find it annoying when vendors sell them for these reasons but it’s not uncommon. I highlight the same in my reviews of Kraken Kratom and Left Coast Kratom.
Website is a Little Clunky: As I mentioned above, when it comes to the Phytoextractum website review, it is a little bit dated in design and just not as slick to use as other modern online stores. It’s not too bad but I’m sure you’ll agree with me.
I noticed the odd thing doesn’t seem to work on the website, like trying to sign up for the newsletter or it not being clear if a coupon code has been accepted. As I say, it’s clunky. Perhaps part of it’s charm. 😉
Pros & Cons
Hopefully this Phytoextractum review has given you a good idea of this company and made you aware of what to expect if you decide to place an order. Here’s an overview:
The Positives
- Good Kratom. Importantly, the Kratom powder sold by Phytoextractum is good. It works at a reasonable dose; I think you’ll like it.
- It’s easy enough to purchase. While navigation of the website is a little clunky, it’s straightforward and intuitive enough to use and plenty of easy, common payment methods are available.
- Great prices. Phytoextractum Kratom is pretty cheap and there are always coupon codes available. You can get a lot of high quality Kratom for very little money from here.
- Free shipping on all orders. No nasty surprises.
- A good range of popular strains. You could use this as your primary vendor and have access to a good variety of strains. This is always good.
- It’s an interesting store! Phytoextractum is a quirky little shop. There will be something obscure that peaks your curiosity for sure. Guaranteed.
The Negatives
- They sell Kratom extracts. Don’t bother with these and don’t encourage the sale of them. They arguably give a bad image of Kratom, not helping any issues of legality. Besides, extracts are harder to dose and skyrocket your tolerance.
- The website is outdated. Maybe this is part of Phytoextractum’s charm but there’s no denying the site is a little clunky. It’s annoying when things don’t work seamlessly.
So, is Phytoextractum Legit?
I always say that I don’t care about how fancy a Kratom vendor’s website is or how good they say their Kratom is, if the product itself is not up to scratch. Whereas if the Kratom is good, none of that matters. Well, Phytoextractum is the perfect example!
They don’t have a fancy website and they don’t make any bold claims, but the Kratom itself is good!
Good Kratom at affordable prices, free shipping and a straightforward buying process. The verdict of this phytoextractum.com review? I’m happy to recommend them.
I appreciate your seemingly honest review here. I will be receiving the red vein meang da on Tuesday. It was a bit pricey but I’ve only had any luck lately with strains of MD and the white veins don’t generally work for me. It will be a 12 day break on Tuesday and I will be dosing 3 grams first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I have 2 years experience with kratom, at one time a daily user for months on end. If the kratom is crap, I will know. I am not currently taking any other supplements or medications.
