Green Borneo Kratom – Benefits, Dosage and What to Expect

Green Borneo Kratom

Green Borneo Kratom: A Well Balanced Kratom Strain

Hello, it’s your pal here, me.

In this installment, I’m coming in off a night of socializing and can’t help but think that Green Borneo had a real positive impact on my evening.

First off, I’m a fairly quiet guy unless you get me going. Toss in a sprinkle of social anxiety and the stresses of everyday life and it sometimes can weigh a bit on mood, motivation, energy, and enjoyment.

Sure, there’s the old ‘go-to’ of alcohol, but man, I’m not 22 anymore and a night of alcohol is typically followed by a hangover from H-E-L-L that I’d just as soon avoid. On the opposite side of the spectrum, cannabis just makes me sleepy and overly anxious.

What’s left? KRATOM!

Specifically, the Green Borneo Kratom strain.

I know what you’re thinking… isn’t Kratom too relaxing or sedative? Sometimes, yes, sometimes no. In the case of Green Borneo Kratom, this unique strain embodies all the good of Kratom without any extremes on either end of the spectrum.

For me, it’s a clear winner for work, creative activities, socialization, parties, and more. But before you run out and grab some powder for yourself, let’s review my experience and the experience of others when taking green Borneo Kratom powder.

What is Green Borneo Kratom?

Green Borneo Kratom is a unique strain or ‘vein’ of Kratom. There are dozens of Kratom strains on the market, with each featuring an alkaloid profile that is as unique as the plant it came from.

Speaking of plants, Green Borneo Kratom, like all Kratom, is made from the dried and processed leaves of the Mitragyna Speciosa tree, an evergreen tree that is native to Southeast Asian countries.

What is Green Vein Kratom?

Green Vein Kratom Strains: a Quick Overview

Okay, so what does the ‘green’ mean in green vein Kratom such as this strain from Borneo? Turns out, Kratom is essentially color-coded. Kinda neat right?

Each ‘vein’ of Kratom refers to a broad category of strains within that vein, notated by color such as green, red, yellow, and white.

Green Vein Kratom is unique in that it possesses an alkaloid profile that embodies properties of both reds and whites, making it an interestingly balanced Kratom that offers the best of both worlds without being either too energetic or stimulatory, or too sedative or relaxing.

Where Does Green Borneo Kratom Come From?

Well, you probably guessed it, but I’ll say it anyway. Green Borneo comes from (drum roll) BORNEO. Borneo is a large island nation situated in Southeast Asia’s Malay Archipelago. This Indonesian nation is known for its ruggedness, breathtaking beaches, rain forest, and diverse ecology and wildlife.

Mitragyna Speciosa trees grown in this region have a unique composition of plant alkaloids responsible for its effects when consumed, and in large part, are responsible for why Green Borneo is so popular around the world.

I’ve never been to Borneo myself… but man, it sounds like a pretty cool place.

How is Green Borneo Kratom Powder Made?

It all starts with cultivation. Having chatted with Kratom farmers and the companies who purchase from them, these people put in some seriously long and hard hours to help make Kratom available for all of us. Trees can take up to two years for Kratom trees to reach a level of maturity where they start producing enough alkaloids for Kratom use.

Each growing season, just after the initial growth spurt, farmers handpick select leaves of the Mitragyna Speciosa tree for harvesting. The veins of these leaves turn from a light green (White Borneo) to a darker green color (Green Borneo) and ultimately red (Red Borneo), indicative of their alkaloid composition. Sometimes, leaves at different or in-between stages of growth will be combined to make Yellow Borneo.

Once the leaves are hand-harvested, they are taken to a temperature and light-controlled room where they are dried with fans. After drying, the entirety of the leaves are ground up into a fine greenish powder we know as Kratom powder. From there the powder is sealed in air and watertight containers and shipped to wholesalers and retailers for packaging and sale on store shelves.

My Experience with Green Borneo Kratom

My Green Borneo Kratom Review

Green Borneo Kratom Powder

I’m no stranger to Kratom, and because I use it frequently, I generally opt for Kratom powder. It’s versatile, I can mix it in all sorts of drinks or food, and its highly cost-effective, especially in bulk. When I discuss green Borneo Kratom effects, I’m referring mostly to powder, although green Borneo Kratom benefits should be similar across different types of products.

Green Borneo Kratom Dosage

I can’t tell you what dose to start at, but I will say that it’s usually a good idea with any supplement to start as small as possible to see how your body reacts. When I first started with Kratom I went too big too fast and it wasn’t always a pleasant experience.

Green Borneo isn’t a super potent strain. It’s no lightweight either, but it’s nothing like Green Maeng Da for example. At least in my experience.

For my green Borneo Kratom dosage, I typically shoot for 2-3 grams if I just need a more energetic pick-me-up or physical motivation. Kind of like coffee, but less jittery and with much more mood-enhancing properties.

If I’m going out I might opt for 3-4 grams to get a nice relaxed but uplifting feel going on. I find this is great for hanging out with friends, out on the town (but don’t drive), and watching Netflix with a significant other.

On the flip side, if I wanna veg out but not be too sedated and tired, I might go for 4-6grams. However, other veins are generally better for a deep relaxed, and sedated state than are green vein Kratoms.

Green Borneo Kratom Effects (for me)

Green Borneo Kratom Benefits

Since a big part of this review is giving you a hands-on idea of what it’s like to use this strain of Kratom, I’d be falling short if I didn’t hit you with the cold hard facts about its effects.

First up, I measured out my powder. In this case, I went for a moderate dose of 3.5 grams. I’ve found this to be a bit of a ‘sweet spot’ for me personally.

On a mostly empty stomach (I usually have a small snack because I have tummy issues from time to time) the Kratom starts to hit within about 20-40 minutes. Usually by the half-hour mark I’m feeling nice.

Its kinda strange to say that a strain is both relaxing and stimulating at the same time, but that’s what makes this specific type of Kratom so unique.

Imagine the uplifting effects of your favorite coffee or energy drink, but smoother, less jittery, and with more clarity. Then add in a soothing and relaxing effect that mellows out the energy and keeps you calm and at peace with the world.

This feeling lasts for hours, peaking around the 1-1.5 hour mark and gradually subsiding over time. Your mileage may vary of course.

What You Can Expect with Green Borneo Kratom

Typical Green Borneo Kratom Effects

Okay, so you have heard my first-hand experience with Green Borneo, but what about how it will affect YOU. I can’t say for certain, but we do know a lot about the typical characteristics of this strain, and what the majority of consumers report feeling after use.

Green Borneo Kratom Benefits (reported by consumers)

As a well-balanced strain, benefits often reported by consumers include:

Energy and Stimulation

Kratom is sometimes used in place of coffee or other stimulants for a clean, uplifting energy that doesn’t leave you crashing afterward.

Mood and Positive Outlook

Green Borneo’s combination of naturally occurring alkaloids work together to improve mood, and help reduce metal clouds lingering over your head. This effect is one of the more highly sought out reasons why people use Green Borneo, helping to improve quality of life.

Stress and Relaxation

Today, we’re all pretty stressed out. Between work and social life, there isn’t much room to relax and unwind. Not to mention we’re all riddled with anxious thoughts, deadlines, never-ending to-do lists, adult obligations, and more. Green Borneo really takes the edge off, reducing stress and producing a sense of calm.

At higher doses, Green vein Kratom takes on properties more often associated with red vein Kratom, acting as a deep relaxant and causing mild sedation some find ideal after a long day’s work or prior to bed.

Pain Relief

At moderate to higher doses, Green Borneo can offer impressive relief from pain according to many customers. Kratom’s alkaloids have been proven to interact with opioid receptors to produce pain-relieving effects. Those seeking natural alternatives to improve quality of life often enjoy Kratom for this purpose.

Types of Green Borneo Kratom

Green Borneo Kratom is available in several types of products. Which one is right for you will be up to personal preference, desired way to consume it, as well as portability and affordability.

Green Borneo Kratom Powder

Green Borneo Kratom powder is one of the most common ways to purchase Kratom. Unprocessed and as natural as it comes, Kratom powder comes directly from the ground up leaves of the Mitragyna Speciosa tree. Powder is also highly affordable, especially in bulk.

Many consumers prefer powder due to its versatility. Powder can be added to a wide range of recipes from food to drinks. Popular options include Kratom tea, adding to coffee, smoothies, and desserts. But be warned, Kratom is naturally quite bitter and has a green leafy and/or earthy taste that some find off-putting.

Green Borneo Kratom Capsules

Kratom capsules, although more expensive, can be a great way to take Kratom on the go. Small, portable, and discreet, capsules are often preferred for those living a busy lifestyle, or for those who need to take their Kratom doses when away from home. One added benefit is that capsules are tasteless, an ideal alternative for those who can’t tolerate Kratom’s bitterness.

Green Borneo Kratom Extracts

Extracts and concentrates are typically sold in a small tincture bottle. These are highly concentrated and potent, isolating Kratom’s alkaloids into a small solution. One benefit of extracts is that they can be swallowed as is, dripped into drinks or food, or taken sublingually under the tongue for faster effects.

As you can see, Green Borneo is one of the most popular strains of Kratom for a reason. This strain offers an incredible balance between the effects of sedative red vein Kratoms and stimulating white vein Kratoms. Offering the best of both, Green Borneo is a mild and soothing vein that is worth giving a try.
